Obesity in Schools

Obesity in schools has become a very real problem; just walk into any school in the country to see that. As a concerned parent and member of the PTA, I put forward the notion that our children, and probably more importantly parents, receive information and guidance on the increasing dangers of obesity.

With the school onboard, I began researching the subject when I came across Globesity. They are a specialist obesity consultancy who aims to educate and inform others on the health risks involved with what has become a global epidemic.

Globesity came to the school and delivered an excellently explanative and interactive presentation, reinforced by an informative workbook for each pupil, plus hands-on props and classroom games to make the learning an enjoyable and productive experience.

Globesity’s impact on the families at our school has been very positive, with a generally improved outlook on healthy living and lifestyle choices.
