German Beer

I attended the recent Oktoberfest in Munich, after my friends had been for the past few years. They had always raved about it, and finally, the trip fell on a weekend that was good for me. If you've not been, you simple must try it!

Traditional German beer is absolutely unbelievable, and drinking from a real German tanker is far removed from a watery pint of Carling at The Red Lion. The wheaty taste of the white beer goes down a treat, and you'll be drinking it all day.

If you're a fan of the likes of Hoegaarden which are more readily available in this country then you simply must try some real German beer.

Don't worry though; you don't have to pay for a holiday to Munich just to sample the delights of their beer, although I would definitely advise it. Just get on to Essentially German and buy some of their great imported beers.
